This simple two-bedroom cottage is a great spot for relaxing or using as an adventure base. Located in beautiful Te Puna, it has a lovely rural vibe within easy reach of city conveniences.

Te Puna is a beautiful rural area renowned for its abundant fruit orchards, just on the outskirts of Tauranga (10 mins to Bethlehem, 15 mins to the CBD and 25 mins to the Mount). Hawk's Rest Cottage is situated near the coast, right on the Tauranga to Omokoroa cycleway (approx 1-hour cycle to Omokoroa, 15 mins to the Wairoa Bridge). For lunch with a view and a cold brew, the Cidery bar is only a 10 min walk (or 2 min drive). Other local favourites, the Clarke Road Eatery, Nourish cafe, the White House restaurant and the Te Puna Deli are all within a 5 min drive. Essentials like supermarkets, pharmacies and service stations within a 10-min drive. Hot pools, surfing, kayaking, sailing, hiking, fishing, boating and all manner of other adventures can be had by exploring within a 25-minute radius.
