Kick back and relax in this calm, space and enjoy the fabulous view of Lake Taupō. This is a fresh, newly renovated light and airy space. Ideal for a couple but can also work for a small family. Located in the beautiful suburb of Acacia Bay, we are 10 mins drive to Taupō town centre and walking distance to the lake and beautiful sheltered swimming spots, including a pontoon, jetty and boat ramp. We also offer free use of two kayaks and lifejackets which are secured at the lakeside for your use. With sensational views from your bed of Mount Tauhara and the lake, you will find it hard to leave. Fully equipped with everything you need for a fantastic and easy stay. The living room can be used for relaxation and cooking as well as an extra bed if needed. The kitchen is small, yet well equipped with a coffee machine, air fryer, induction hob, microwave, electric frypan, toaster, kettle and sandwich press. A large BBQ is outside. A travel cot is available on request. Considerations: 2 night minimum stay, 3 on public holiday weekends. Please do not continue with a one night booking, even if the app lets you. This is a glitch I am trying to sort out. Please be aware that the bathroom is only accessible through the main bedroom. This accomodation may not be suitable for those who want sleeping privacy, if you are more than one couple. The space is self contained with it's own entrance. You will share the car parking area with us, although you will have your own spot for one car. We live upstairs with our Golden Retriever, so there will be some residual noise and the dog will bark as you come and go. One well behaved pet is welcome, please be aware that the courtyard is not fenced, however there a lots of beautiful walks around us that are accessible for dogs, both on and off lead.

Myself and hubby are both High School teachers and recent empty nesters. We have converted this lovely space to take advantage of this and fund some adventures in our holidays. We are originally from the UK but prior to moving to Taupō 6 years ago, we lived on the Mornington Peninsula, Melbourne. We love to ski, travel, mountain bike and hike and well as travelling in our campervan.

Acacia Bay is a beautiful suburb of Taupō, we are 5 mins walk from the lake and beach and a 3 mins drive to the boat ramp. Acacia Bay is less than 10 mins drive to the centre of Taupō which offers many events and things to do.
