Our family home is a beautiful 75 year old house with a unique upstairs self-contained apartment (incl. washing machine). It is situated on an elevated section with two balconies show casing the wonderful views of the surrounding area, including the lights of Christchurch city, Cashmere Hills and Shirley Golf Course. On a hot day feel free to have a dip in the swimming pool or just sit and relax on one on the balconies with a cold bevvy or two. We are pet friendly owning a cat (Smokey) and two dogs (Ruby and Kyra) who have their own fenced off area to roam and play in. We do have an inground swimming pool that guests are welcome to use but this is within the pet area.

We love to share our large family home of 35 years with our guests as all our family except for myself and my husband have now flown the nest. We enjoy camping and boating with our family and Grandkids and often travel away to our permanent caravan park in Duvauchelles to relax and fish over long weekends and head away to Kaiteri at Xmas. I enjoy walking the dogs along the beach. I am actively involved in playing squash, going to the Gym and Aqua Jogging at our local QEII Leisure Centre.

I live in Shirley which is only about 12 minutes from the Central City and Christchurch International and Domestic Airport. We are within walking distance of the Lake and great walks and on the edge of the Shirley Golf Course. The Palms Mall is situated a few hundred metres up the road with a large supermarket. We are a five minute walk to Homebase Shopping Centre and Bunnings Warehouse. 600m away from the bus stop where you can catch the bus into the Central Bus Depot in the centre city. We are within walking distance to local parks and playgrounds.
