Stony Creek - Come and stay in our north facing modern home located just 5 minutes drive from the town of Franz Josef within the Franz Alpine Resort. Take in the Glacier Country mountains and views of Lake Mapourika while enjoying the large deck, or open the sliding doors and enjoy from the comfort of inside. The kitchen, dining and lounge area are open plan, sliding doors open to a large deck that runs the length of the house. The kitchen is equipped with the basics tools to prepare meals. The main bedroom, with ensuite, adjoins the lounge. The other two bedrooms share the other bathroom. All bedrooms have sliding doors onto the deck. The holiday house caters for a maximum of six guests. It is heated and cooled with a heat pump and two oil column heaters. There are also electric blankets available for all beds. The house has free ADSL Wi-Fi. Cell phone coverage is available on all networks, but strongest on Vodafone.

Kevin and I met in Franz Josef many years ago. We have two five year old daughters, Sophie and Emily, who keep laughing and busy. We all love getting into the outdoors and catching up with friends and family.

Stony Creek is located 5 minutes drive from the Franz Josef township in the Franz Alpine Resort. It is a quiet neighbourhood made up of houses owned by locals with some empty sections (lots). It is surrounded by mountains covered with rainforest.
