We have a great deck/garden area for our guest to sit and relax. Both our rooms have their own access to the garden area. In the summer we serve breakfast in the garden area.
We are travelers ourselves so enjoy meeting people from all over the world. We have traveled around New Zealand so can give you ideas and suggestions. There are lots of things to do and see around Auckland that we have done ourselves so we can certainly point you in the right direction.
Cindy is from Georgia in the US but has lived in NZ for 30 years, Terry is a native of Auckland and a big supporter of the Auckland Blues Rugby team. In Auckland there are many great restaurants, theatre, concerts and many ways to enjoy outdoor activities
We are in a residential area and we are on a wide tree lined street. We are a short walking distance to beautiful bays and lovely walk along Tamaki Drive to Mission Bay where you can sit on the beach and have fish and chips or enjoy a movie, dine out or try one of the local pubs. Bastion Point Reserve is nearby for a scenic view of the Harbour and Auckland City. One of the best cafes in Auckland is on our street (Good Day) and small local pub (Pinchos) is in the same shopping block. Small shopping center close by with a supermarket, chemist, bank and Medical center and many more shops.
