Having been city dwellers for most of our lives, we made the move to the beautiful South almost six years ago to embrace an entirely different lifestyle and enjoy the spoils of North Canterbury and the peace our property affords us. The Pavilion is situated in a quiet country location, with easy access to Christchurch city and airport. For convenience and last minute requirements, there is a shopping village 2km away providing groceries, takeaways, a couple of restaurants, country pub, bakery and petrol station. The Ohoka market is a popular and busy market held at the Ohoka Domain each Friday from 9am-1pm, selling local food produce, clothing, crafts, plants and many other goods. The townships of Rangiora and Kaiapoi are also close at hand - approximately 12 minutes drive away, with the stunning Waipara Valley just half an hour north, home to numerous quality vineyards. Guests enjoy the peace and tranquility of the location, yet the easy proximity to the city and wider Canterbury region which offers endless attractions.
