The apartment is self contained, attached to the main house with amazing views over Marlborough’s vineyards, mountains and the ocean including Cloudy Bay and Vernon Bluffs. We are nestled up in our private forest and native bush surrounded by nature and birdsong. Tuis and Bellbirds are regular visitors. A car is essential as the property is accessed via a very long, winding driveway. You will be provided with fresh eggs from our free range chickens and seasonal fruit from our orchards as well as items for a continental breakfast. Undercover parking is provided with a convenient place to plug your EV charger if needed. There is a covered BBQ area with seating and your own private garden to enjoy the spectacular views, sunrises, sunsets and stargazing. The apartment is perfect for 2 people but we can accommodate up to 4 with a sofa bed and prearranged single bed. This is the perfect base from which to explore all that Marlborough has to offer whilst enjoying peace and tranquility.

Blenheim is 15 minutes drive away with its world renowned vineyards and many restaurants and bars. Picton, gateway to the beautiful Marlborough Sounds is 20 minutes drive. Both easily accessible from our State Highway 1 location. There are many local walking tracks/hikes and idyllic beaches for day trips. Kaikoura, Nelson and the Nelson Lakes National Park are all within a 2 hour drive.
