Situated between the charming villages of Kuaotunu, Whitianga, and Ferry Landing, you'll find pristine beaches, water activities, walks and charming cafes plus much more on the peninsula. The area is great for fishing, boating, and swimming. Otama Beach and Opito Bay are also nearby, offering serene spots for relaxation. Just a 20 minute drive from Whitianga, Kuaotunu is a stunning beachside town with a history in gold mining. The sheltered bay makes for safe swimming off the beach, and other activities include kayaking, horse trekking and bush walks.
