Villa Rouge B&B provides a luxurious standard of accommodation in a century-old villa that has been fully renovated and refurbished to modern standards, at the same time retaining the original character. We are located just a 3 minute drive from the city centre, two short blocks from Queens Park botanical gardens and golf course, and 100 metres to Waihopai River cycling/walking track. You will enjoy apartment-like living with exclusive use of : Formal dining room (also suitable for a business meeting - seats 10); Sitting room/library with open fire; Media room/lounge with HD projector & screen with surround sound. Other facilities include : Free wireless fibre UFB; Free off-street parking; Free in-house laundry; Bar fridge with complimentary beverage selection; Tea and coffee selection and homemade fare; Rocket E61 Espresso coffee machine and in-house barista - available at all times; well stocked wine cellar.
Diana and Noel are both fourth generation Southlanders, with an in-depth knowledge of local attractions, the things to do, and places to go. Diana has a passion for cooking,arthouse movies, books, crochet & knitting, swimming & walking. We have three adult children ... two in NZ and one in Amsterdam. Noel's interests include wine tasting & collecting,biking, reading and gardening ... grows all his own vegetables, and produces the most divine homemade bread (served with your breakfast of course).
