Our fully self contained cottage is located between Carterton and Greytown, and is separate to the house. Built in late 2015, the double glazed cottage has a separate bedroom, with a pull out double bed(with a proper inner sprung mattress) and a single bed in the lounge/living area. Full kitchen, heat pump, and washing machine. Our cottage is good for couples, and small families, or groups, looking for a relaxing break or just passing through. We think the views are amazing from the cottage-over the to Tararua mountains and behind to the Eastern Hills. We've got farm animals-cows, sheep, sometimes pigs and always chickens and ducks.
We enjoy hosting visitors to our cottage because we believe it is a relaxing space with amazing views over the paddocks to the mountains. Our modern space is private from the main house, but we're happy to show you around the farm. While we are located rurally, we're near some fantastic cafes, restaurants and shops.
We're located 5 minutes drive to Greytown to the South, and 5 minutes drive to Carterton. Wellington is approximately 90 minutes away over the Remutaka Hills. For more information refer to the folder inside the cottage, or please ask us.
