Nestled within a well known six-acre garden, this very private unit has everything you need for a cozy, relaxing stay in beautiful Wanaka. It has a real "being out in the country feeling" while being only a few minutes from the Lake and the township.
COMING FOR THE SKI SEASON?
We are situated close to the main roads out to the two ski fields. You have your own garage and also a specifically built drying room to give you warm gloves and boots in the morning!
About the space
This purpose-built country hideaway was once an old nursery shed that's been transformed into a gorgeous self-contained unit. With modern finishings but a cozy country feel, you'll have your own private escape.
My wife Kate and I are parents to three grown boys. We love spending time with family and having a laugh. We have lived on our property in Wanaka for over 20-years. Both avid gardeners (we used to own and run the local Wanaka nursery) we absolutely love our beautiful town - we know you'll love it too.
Wanaka, a resort town on New Zealand's South Island, is set on the southern end of its namesake lake with views of snowcapped mountains. It's the gateway to the Southern Alps' Mount Aspiring National Park, a wilderness of glaciers, beech forests, and alpine lakes. Treble Cone and Cardrona ski resorts are near the park.
