Water's Edge, Opua, Bay of Islands is situated right on the beachfront. The property is fully equipped - pretty much like your own home might be - has modern furnishings and enjoys stunning views over the Bay. The Beach Bach has an outdoor spa pool, or hot tub as they are sometimes known, an expansive deck for alfresco dining, a barbecue with gas provided and much more. The Bay of Islands is one of New Zealand's most popular tourist destinations with much to see and do in the area including fishing, island visits, bush walks, kayaking, parasailing, cycle trails etc. Kayaks and life jackets are provided free of charge for guest use.
Water's Edge is just an 8 minute drive from the popular tourist town of Paihia where there are many restaurants and bars to enjoy. The Waitangi Treaty Grounds are also in that area and a must see for visitors to New Zealand. The historic town of Russell is just a short ferry ride across the Bay and also has a range of eateries. May we suggest watching the holiday makers while enjoying fish and chips on the beach on a summer's day? The larger township of Kerikeri is a 30 minute drive from Water's Edge and Cape Reinga, at the very top of the North Island, is a 3-hr drive away.
