Take your summer living outside and tuck into a meal together alfresco, with a view of Kūaotunu West Beach as your backdrop. When it's time to get out on the water, the local boat ramp is a quick two-minute drive down along the beach. The golden sands of the Kūaotunu Beach is just three-minutes walk from your front door. Leave the car at home, pack a picnic, and don't forget the sunscreen. When you feel like venturing out for a day trip or two, Matarangi, Rings Beach, Simpsons Beach, and Otama are all a short drive away. Whitianga, Cooks Beach, and Hahei are also fantastic spots when you are after a bit of adventure further afield. Just a 20 minute drive from Whitianga, Kuaotunu is a stunning beachside town with a history in gold mining.
