ACCOMMODATION INFORMATION: Flat located in gated community, with pool open all year. Building with 6 floors, being the flat located on the fifth floor wich provides good views to the sea and to the estuary (ria de Aveiro). This accommodation is 200 meters from the beach (3 minutes walk). Close to essential establishments for a holiday such as restaurants, bakeries, pastries, mini-markets and fish market. Also the bars, all located next to the beach, are nearby. All these trips can be made on foot. It is also easy to park the car on the public road. The flat is spacious, suitable to accommodate 4 people and has an appreciable number of amenities. 1) INFORMATION ABOUT THE SURROUNDING AREA: At sea you can surf and bodyboard, there are two surf schools in Vagueira. There is also a water park. In the estuary (ria de Aveiro) the possible activities are windsurfing, kitesurfing, stand up paddle, sailing, kayaking and canoeing. At the entrance of Costa Nova (5 kilometers from Vagueira) there is a school that rents out this equipment. There are several dozen kilometers of cycle paths in the area. Bicycles can be rented by the hour or by the day 2 and 6 kilometers from the flat. You can visit the beaches of Costa Nova, Barra and Mira, all very interesting and with very different characteristics. The city of Aveiro is another place to visit. Visits to specific places: Barra lighthouse; Santo André ship museum; Ílhavo maritime museum (see codfish live); Vista Alegre porcelain factory. All these places are less than 20 kilometers away. However, the only possible means of travel is the car. The estuary (ria) runs parallel to the sea and forms a strip of sand of less than 2 kilometers wide where the beaches are located. This area between the estuary and the sea is 20 kilometers long.
