Property information

Fantastic 2 bedroom ground floor duplex apartment, just 65 metres from the beach. The complex favours from an elevated position offering breathtaking ocean views. The apartment is well furnished, bright and presents generous areas throughout. The large balcony on the top floor is excellent for entertaining and enjoying the sunshine. The other patio of the property can be accessed from the lounge and kitchen and has direct access to the pool. The lounge is airy and comfortably equipped with pleasant seating, cable TV, free Wi-Fi and DVD player with a large variety of DVDs to watch. There are 2 bedrooms, one has a super king-sized bed and the other has twin beds. Both benefit from access to a balcony with amazing sea views. There is a double sofa-bed in the lounge, which allows the property to accommodate up to 6 guests in all comfort. The property managers will provide bracelets for access to the pool. The property benefits of a garage with a private space for your car. Please note that the space is tight and larger cars may be hard to fit in. There is free parking space outside the complex as an alternative. Please be aware that there are some steps around the complex and obviously inside the apartment as it is a duplex, so the apartment would not be ideal for people with reasonably severe mobility problems. Occasionally, festivals take place in São Martinho, and due to the central location of this apartment, the noise can be disruptive for guests seeking a quiet stay. The primary events that may cause disturbance are the New Year celebrations and the Festas de Santo António, which typically occur over 10 days in early to mid-June. If you are sensitive to loud music playing late into the night, please check the festival dates before making a reservation. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to check-in to this property on a Sunday.

Neighbourhood information

São Martinho is a beautiful small village, with a shell shaped bay. Due to its particular shape, the bay is the ideal beach for families with small children, as the strong sea current characteristic of the Atlantic ocean is not present here. Throughout the sea front there are lovely restaurants, where you can delight yourself with delicious Portuguese food, nice cafés and bars. Just a stroll away along the coast line and you'll find Salir do Porto River beach, which has the river streaming to the ocean and is also perfect for families due to its calm waters.
