The host will be at the house on your arrival to greet you and show you where you will be staying. There is on street parking available outside the house. The flat is on the first floor which has an independent external staircase for access with lighting. There is a gate at the top of the stairs and we strongly recommend that it is kept closed when children are with you. The balcony overlooking the garden has a small bistro table with seating. Please supervise your children at all times for their safety while on the balcony. As a family we live on the ground floor. During your stay Alexandra and Carlos your hosts will be available via mobile or WhatsApp to answer any queries. You will be staying in a family home with young children. We have 3 dogs and a cat. The dogs will be in a secure compound during your stay. The swimming pool has salted water including a wash off shower situated near the pool. Please note the pool is not heated. Parents are responsible for their children's safety while using the pool. We ask you to respect our family values by not smoking or vaping in the flat including the pool and garden areas. Our home is located in a quite surburban area of Cabanas, Palmela. With local amenities within 500 metres, including a supermarket, pharmacy, restaurants, pizzeria, cafés and petrol station. • Driving to Lisboa is approximately 30 minutes away depending on the traffic. There is also a local train station which takes you into the city center located 10 minutes by car from Casa Almenara. • Should you wish to enjoy the beach and sea you can drive to Figueirinha within 20 minutes. • Arrábida Natural Park has extensive walking trails situated between the town of Sesimbra and the city of Setúbal, the hill of Palmela and the sea, including areas in the municipalities of Setúbal, Palmela, and Sesimbra. • Palmela Castle is a huge fortified complex. Within the walls is the Convent and Church of Santiago de Palmela.
