The maximum number of guests is 4 adults, 2 children, and 1 infant when sharing beds. Guests of guests are not allowed, and outdoor shoes must not be worn inside. The booking guest must be between 23 and 70 years old. Exceptions for guests over 70 are possible if they confirm that stairs and steep roads are manageable. Delays in registration will delay check-in codes. All booking communication must go through this platform. The hot tub is an optional service, bookable in advance, with a possibly safety deposit. "Casa Amaranth" is two private apartments where each apartment includes a 40 m2 private roof terrace with panorama view to Ferragudo. The building has two floors. "Apartment Alpha" is at the ground floor, "Apartment Beta" at first floor. If you step up the indoor stairway to the roof, you will find a large and sunny private terrace, equipped with a private hot tub, sun beds, seating area and barbecue. View to the centre of Ferragudo and the ocean in the horizon. We charge an extra fee for using the private hot tub. 30 for first day, next days 10 each, all in Euros. This gives you a cleaned hot tub with fresh water, new filters and correct chemicals. The hot tub must be booked at our site prior to your stay, or it will not be available. The building has stairs and the road is steep. We do not recommend the apartment to people with reduced mobility.

In Ferragudo there are beaches within walking distance. Ferragudo centre with restaurants and events is only a few hundred meters from the apartment and has live music which you can enjoy from the outdoor restaurants in the summer evenings. The next by Arade river hosts a boat taxi which can transport you to the closest beaches and the city Portimäo. In Portimäo you find shopping malls, clubs, discos, beach parties and festivals, along with a lot of bars and restaurants. After a city tour, it is nice to come back and relax in quiet Ferragudo. Beside of having multiple beaches, the coast line has a lot of caves. Make a unique memory and spend some hours in one of the many boats that offer cave explorations, scuba diving, snorkelling, - or have a trip with pirate ship. You cannot visit Algarve without including a trip on the highest mountain here, Serra de Monchique. Follow the road signs to Monchique, then to Foia until you reach almost 1000 meters altitude. Enjoy the great view of Algarve when the weather is good. With 300 days annual sunshine, the chances are good.
