Casa BrancAzul is a work of love. From an old traditional townhouse, it was renovated as a place to enjoy life, with family, friends, and guests in mind. Its tall dome ceilings are enchanting, not only to the eye but also during the hot summer days, where you will be able to enjoy a cool shade. With two spacious bedrooms, one on the ground floor and one on the top floor, two bathrooms, large dining area and kitchen, and a lovely living room, the house also offers a patio on the ground floor, a large terrace on the first floor, and a smaller top terrace from where you will be able to enjoy the cityscape, the hills to the North and the Ria Formosa seashore to the south. Come and feel at home. You are welcome!
My name is Rui, I'm from Olhão, I know the city and its people. After knowing the owners for a while, I was invited to welcome their guests and make their stay as memorable as possible. I'm happy to do so and will be here to help anyone that visits us.
Casa BrancAzul is located in the historic quarter of Olhão, about 150m from the Ria Formosa and the harbor promenade where fresh seafood and farm produce fill the town's market halls every day. Casa BrancAzul is a renovated terraced house, it is an 8-minute walk from the train and bus stations, which makes it appealing to visitors without a car. It's an easy walk through pretty cobbled streets into the old town with its abundance of cafes and restaurants. It'll take you six minutes to get to the ferry or water taxis that take you onto the Ria Formosa, and the white beach islands of Culatra, Armona, and Farol. The more modern center of town is accessible by foot, too, if you wish. Casa BrancAzul is a comfortable home in the cultural heart of Olhão. We trust you will be most welcome here.
