Hello! I am Annelies, a UK qualified occupational therapist who has taken an alternative route. Having worked many years with people with various disabilities, going on holiday seems to be an out of reach option for many due to various barriers. Now after renovating two houses by myself in the beautiful Silver Coast here in Portugal in the last 3 years, finally Casa da Annelies is open! Casa da Annelies is one hour from Lisbon airport and located between Nazare and Peniche in a small village by the Obidos sea lagoon where all water sports are practiced. The beaches of Foz do Arelho are a 8 min drive away. Historical sites such as Obidos (15min), Alcobaça (25min) and Fatima are within easy reach by car. The house is in the old part of the village with portuguese neighbours and a short walk to the local cafe and restaurants. The town of Caldas da Rainha is a 10 min drive away where all services can be found. The owner lives next door. There are two cats at the property and although not allowed in the guest house, please be aware that if you are suffering from extreme allergies this might not be suitable.
