Casa da Azenha, a cosy and welcoming detached house, accommodates 6 people within three bright and colourful en suite rooms. The house features a living room and kitchenette with several appliances and a large private outdoor space. The house is set within the enchanting mountains of Serra da Freita and Serra do Montemuro (Geopark), bathed by Paiva river, just 100 meters from the house. CHECK-IN \ CHECK-OUT Check-in and check-out are remote, and the keys to the property are stored in a small key safe at the entrance of the house. The access code will be provided to the guest on the day of arrival, in the morning. As for check-in and check-out, guests will be able to access the house from 12:00 pm on the day of booking and will be able to stay at the house until 6:00 pm on the day of departure. We have established this way so that guests can make the most of the charming Aldeia da Paradinha, its purifying river beach, its works of art that dot and enchant the paths, and all the surrounding points of attraction - for example, it is the place of accommodation closest to Passadiços do Paiva

PETS So, anticipating that not all four-legged friends are the same and that whoever comes to O Pardieiro does not bring along neither tigers nor bears, yes, your pet is very welcome! We only ask that the teeth are not very sharp and the nails are kept short so nothing is damaged. The rest is rhetoric! It is also up to us to inform that, as we want our guests to enjoy a "detox" mode from the outside world, we do have internet (despite often of poor connection because of the remote location signal) but and we leave you with radio and four TV channels and encourage a lot of reading and meditation! We remind you that you will be staying in the middle of mountains with great biodiversity so we ask you to keep in mind that sometimes the charms of the ecosystem impose themselves without asking permission from the guest or the owner.

The village of Paradinha features fossils, and it is perfect for long walks, swimming, rafting, and snorkelling in one of the cleanest river in Europe. To fully enjoy the area it’s advisable to have your own car. It is 8 km from the Passadiços do Paiva and within minutes walk from many unique fluvial beaches. Alvarenga is 7 km away and offers plenty of restaurants nearby, to dine in or take away as well as a pharmacy, a gas station and supermarkets. Porto is 89 km away, while Termas de Sao Pedro do Sul are 61 km from Paradinha, and Viseu is 80 km away. The nearest airport is Porto – Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport, 92 km.
