We were born in Madeira island, we like to travel and meet people, and it is a great pleasure to help travellers to discover our island.

Property information

Casa da Praia is an independent part of a small rural house and is ideal for families and groups up to four people. The accommodation is 80 m2 and comprises two bedrooms, one living room, one kitchen, one bathroom, a terrace and a parking place. The terrace is sunny, spacious and has a view to the ocean and agricultural land around. It is equipped with washer, refrigerator, cooker, microwave and other utensils, as well as bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi, TV with international and children’s channels, and other amenities to provide a pleasant and relaxed stay. We are available to provide support during your stay, to recommend places and activities you may like and to find solutions for your needs. We can recommend activities to discover the island off the usual tourist circuits. Guests have access to the upper floor of the house. The accommodation and terrace are for the exclusive use of guests and these spaces are not shared with other users. Cleaning is done before guests check in and then there is a weekly maintenance cleaning, which includes the change of bed linen and towels. The accommodation is located in a residential area in the countryside, but there is potential for noise from motorbikes and cars on a nearby street and from dogs barking in the neighbourhood. There are also insects in the surroundings that can be attracted by food scraps. The increase in the number of guests implies a price increase of up to 10% per person.

Neighbourhood information

The property is near the village of Ribeira Brava, where there is a beach and many restaurants and cafes. Ribeira Brava is located in the southwestern part of the island, which has the best weather conditions in Madeira. A few kilometres away there are stunning cliffs, mountains and Laurissilva forest for nature lovers and hikers. Nearby you can enjoy many outdoor activities such as hiking, paragliding, mountain biking, surfing, fishing and other nautical activities. The property has easy access to the major roads.
