Casa da Tapa 7 is part of a large historical manor house in Vila Pouca de Aguiar. This self-catering house is perfect for families or groups of friends. It comfortably sleeps 6 guests, with 3 bedrooms (1 double bed + 4 single beds + 1 baby cot), 2 living rooms with fireplace, dining room, fully equipped tradition kitchen with open fireplace, Large modern bathroom, cable TV, free WiFi and loundry machine. Outside, a large lawn with stunning views, with eating area with outdoor furniture and BBQ. Books, Family games or music for children and parents as well! This magnificent house offers an ambience of history, tradition and cosiness like no other! Enjoy Casa da Tapa 7 in absolute privacy. The house is rented as a unit with exclusive access to the entire property: 210 m2 of interiors and 1000 m2 exterior lawn and garden. Vila Pouca de Aguiar is extremely central with excellent highway access (A24/A7*) and plenty to do and see close by. It is the perfect place to stay, only half an hour drive from Peso da Régua/Douro. Casa da Tapa 7 has been in the family since XIX century. In 2017, we opened its doors to all those who seek a unique place to stay. By the fireplace, you may enjoy reading a book or playing family games. Outside we invite you to relax listening to the silence of the hills of Vila Pouca de Aguiar or simply to the water running by the kitchen door.
Casa da Tapa 7 is embedded in historical town center, next to the “Chapel of the Lord” and bordering the local forest park. A very quiet neighbourhood surrounded by history and stunning countryside views. There are numerous trails to trek on foot or by bike, with cycling lanes to Pedras Salgadas or towards Vila Real, using the now closed Corgo railway road. Close by, among other sport facilities, you may find Vidago Palace Golf Course, Pedras Salgadas Equestrian Centre, and Thermal Spas, in Pedras Salgadas, in Vidago or in Chaves.
