Casa Carvalho is a super well decorated house, fully equipped, for you and your beloved ones, in a perfect comfortable environment be able to contemplate the most beautiful sunset on Madeira Island and spend wonderful times. It is completely immersed in Nature, next to the Ponta do Pargo Lighthouse, quite a icon of the place itself, is has also access to several Levadas Walks, such as Levada da Lombadinha (the closest one). In this house you can find the peace and family holidays you need so much contemplating every morning and every evening an idyllic landscape. This cozy house is located in one of the most beautiful parts of the Island, in the middle of nature, at an altitude of more than 600 meters above sea level. Of course, it is a cold and humid area in winter and very hot in summer. The house has a large backyard, with sun loungers for sunbathing and an outdoor bathroom, without shower, supporting the solarium and barbecue. In addition to the bedrooms, the house has a beautiful mezzanine with a double bed, a single bed and a small living room. One More thing 😊: This house was recovered with affection and is for everyone's use and for this purpose we have some: House Rules - Garbage should not be left at home (there is a container at the beginning of the street, about 50m) - equipment and furniture should be left in their respective places - dishes should be left washed - Portuguese law prohibits making noise from 10pm
Our main interest is, to contribute somehow building good memories and good times for those who visit this magnificent spot. Hosting is an art. And we believe that art is also an expression of love and commitment.
The surrounding area is absolutely heavenly. The landscape speaks for itself. Green is the predominant color. There is no noise, the only thing you will hear are the sounds of nature. Near by you have several restaurants, such as “Farolim”, “Forno”, “Dominó”; you also have a Chemist and Drug Store if needed. A visit to Ponta do Pargo Lighthouse is a must do, such as another to Garganta Funda Viewpoint. In a few minutes, by car you will be on Calheta, Jardim do Mar or Porto Moniz beaches.
