After a few updates and upgrades the property now has bamboo flooring, modernized kitchens, updated bathrooms, king and queen size beds comfortable sofas and big screen smart TVs with Amazon Fire TV and Netflix. At the top floor, a beautiful balcony salon is available as an extra living room with sofa bed and office space for guests. If you must work night as well enjoy the view of one the healthiest dune ecosystems in Portugal. Whenever you desire walk up the ramp that beckons you over the dunes and onto the most secluded beach in the area. You can talk along the boardwalk until you reach the tallest lighthouse in Portugal in Barra and stop along all the beachfront cafes like Bronze and Sétimo Beach Club and all the others in between. Or stop at Canastra do Fidalgo or Don Fernandes or Dori for top quality seafood. Or stop at the local fish market and butcher and Coza Nova for some bread to accompany the barbecued Sardines you can grill in our roofed terrace. The house and the are are to be savored like the sunsets you will enjoy from our balcony with your favorite beverage in hand. Come… and let staying in this house be your path to paradise.

Costa Nova is a magical place with its quaint homes painted in colorful stripes it is a unique place in Portugal and the world. It is sandwiched between an estuary canal and the vast Atlantic Ocean. Oysters, cockles, and grass shrimp thrive in the waters of the estuary and Sea Bass and Sardines are caught in the Atlantic off its shores. A stones throw from Barra home to Portugals tallest lighthouse and Vagueira Beach to the south. This coastal area is one of the most diverse and delicious places to visit. There is of course Aveiro only minutes away where the Venice of Portugal awaits you along with its amazing Moliceiro boats and its Art Deco architecture. Only 1 hour from Porto airport, this is one of the most convenient and quaint beachfront vacation spots anywhere. Easyjet in and Uber all around. Transportation is also very accessible.
