Originally from Switzerland, we spent the last 25 years traveling the world from Africa, to South East Asia, to Europe and South America with our four children. We then decided to realise a long held dream and settle down here in Portugal on our farm amidst the olive trees, cork trees and sheep. ​ We have always loved to meet people from all walks of life, to host and to share the wonders around us. Now we have two houses that we rent for families, small groups and also for retreats. VILA NOVA DA BARONIA. It is a typical Alentejo white washed village with cobbled streets, hidden little food shops bakery, pharmacy, ATM/Bank, restaurants, and a train station that has trains to Lisbon and Beja several times a day. ​ ALVITO is a nice little village with a castle which today is a luxury Hotel. There are several little shops and the São Cucufate Roman villa nearby.
