Quinta do Seisal is a huge former royal and aristocratic home located in the heart of Sintra - the UNESCO World Heritage city renown for its stunning landscapes, gardens &; refreshing coastal retreats. It is moments walk away from the city's romantic palaces, castles, museums, intimate inns, bars & restaurants. Built in French romantic style in 1899 the Quinta is now fully restored to its luxurious splendour from which to marvel at the spectacular vistas or to just rest and relax by the heated pool.
The Quinta is well versed in receiving guests from private groups of families and friends of all age groups to state, royal and diplomatic personalities and delegations. Events are on request and subject to a specific fee. We remain at your disposal to make your visit to the Quinta truly memorable. Just ask.
Lord Byron, the famous 18th century British poet and leading figure of the Romantic movement acclaimed Sintra to be a Glorious Eden. This we believe to be true today as it was when. Key sites: Parque da Liberdade (50 meters) Sintra City Hall (2 mins) National Palace of Sintra (5 mins) National Palace of Pena (15 mins), Estoril and Cascais (15 mins) Lisbon, Mafra and Cabo do Roca (25 mins) and Lisbon international airport (25 mins). The property is situated just 3 min walk from Sintra's train station and bus stops, 6 min walk from the historic heart of Sintra and its principal palaces, 1 min walk to the entrance of beautiful Parque da Liberdade.
