Monte Meu is our family-run agroturismo on a working farm just 200 meters from the Atlantic Ocean. When booked in full, the entire property is yours: four cottages, four king suites, all gardens, open fields and the large breakfast room. It’s a private farmstay setting with space for families and groups to spread out and enjoy nature together. The cottages and suites blend authentic Alentejo farm life with thoughtful design, featuring local artisan pieces, vintage finds and artwork from our family and regional artists. We also collaborate with OMAR CITY, bringing a clean, contemporary feel to the natural surroundings. Full-property guests have exclusive access to every indoor and outdoor area. We can arrange farm-to-table breakfasts, curated meals and bespoke experiences such as private dinners, tastings, workshops and guided activities—all tailored to your group. Horses and goats graze peacefully around the farm, children can explore safely, and adults appreciate the calm atmosphere and ocean air. We’re always nearby and happy to help with anything you need.

Monte Meu sits in one of our favourite corners of the Costa Alentejana — quiet, coastal, and deeply connected to local life. We’re just 200 meters from the ocean and an easy walk to Cavaleiro, our small village, where you’ll find friendly cafés, a little mercearia, and the community rhythm that makes this place special. We have a close partnership with the Centro Desportivo e Cultural do Cavaleiro, so guests often end up discovering local events, festas or simple everyday moments that don’t make it into guidebooks. This area is part of the Natural Park, so nature really shapes the experience. Cabo Sardão is a few minutes away and is the only place in the world where storks nest on sea cliffs — something we always encourage guests to see. If you enjoy walking, the Rota Vicentina passes close by and we’re always happy to recommend our favourite stretches of the trail. Nearby, Odemira and the surrounding villages have weekly markets, small cultural events and seasonal traditions that we love sharing with guests.
