Property information

This is in an early 19th century building which has been renovated while keeping its original features, such as its wood arches and hydraulic floor tiles in the main entrance or traditional Lisbon façade with stone window frames and forged steel guardrails. We are just within a 5-10 minute walk from Rossio, Chiado and historical Alfama! We are regulated by the same laws applied to Hotels/Tourism in Portugal and therefore SEF (Foreigners and Borders Service) legally requires information, in the same way, that all hotels will require a passport or any other form of identification, the identification number, date of birth and nationality of each guest. Since we don't have reception and we don't have members present at the property, we have a secure online check-in system that you must complete before your arrival. To ensure a pleasant stay for all guests, smoking is not allowed inside the accommodation. A fine may be applied in case of non-compliance.

Neighbourhood information

The recently-renovated Ponto Alto Apartments are set in the heart of Bairro Alto, surrounded by viewpoints, great restaurants, cafes and markets, some old, others renewed, that create a unique mix between the traditional and the modern concept of a great European capital. The famed São Jorge Castle is a 9 minute drive away, while Chiado is 500m away, while the historical center, Alfama, is a 7 minute drive with its several establishments where guests can enjoy a glass of wine while watching a Fado concert. It is also important that you know that our street is closed to drivers who do not have authorization to access the area. Only taxis and residents can enter by car (UBERS are not allowed to enter).
