Situated near the reservoir Barragem do Arade, close to the atmospheric town of Silves.You will stay in a house steeped in history in the local area. It is not known exactly how old the house is, but certainly over 100 years old. Around 1950 it was a tavern,signs of this past can still be seen in the house. Part of the house is rebuilt using straw bales. If you are searching for quality and peace you found the right house! The peace and tranquility continue once you get outside. On two sides of the house there is a terrace made of natural stones collected from the immediate vicinity. You can choose to relax in the sun or seek the cool of the shade. You can also lounge in a hammock or cool off in our natural pool, devoid of any chemicals.The garden is a mixture of an orchard and a formal garden, which gradually merges into the natural habitat surrounding the stream. This stream eventually reaches the sea via Silves. If you are in the right season then you can enjoy the ripe fruits such as oranges, mandarins, lemons, loquat or pomegranates.There is also a vegetable garden where you can pick fresh veggies, the varieties and amounts depending on the season.
You can have nice walks in the surrounding nature, go swimming in de "barragem do Arade", a water resevoir, away from the busy beaches.
