Centrally located spacious apartment with vast roof terrace in our beautiful old House close to the River Gilão and within the historical centre of Tavira. 15 min walk from the railway and bus stations, 2 min to the ferry which brings you to the Tavira Island with its Blue Flag beach. The photographs of the apartment offer a glimpse of the character of the Old House. The roof terrace with views over the town offers pleasant solitude with the expanse of starlit sky at night.

We are an Anglo-Indo-German family living on the same premises. While the spacious apartment itself is entirely for you, the vast roof terrace is a shared space with guests of the second apartment, if any booked for the same period. Please do observe that smoking is permitted ONLY on the roof terrace!! The apartment is specifically for the guests booked via airbnb. Visitors not permitted during your stay. Also important to note is that we have a subtropical climate here so it is not unusual to have little uninvited guests like ants, bugs and beetles, who will especially be attracted to food left uncovered on tables and surfaces. It is therefore essential to keep all foodstuff stored in the fridge at night and when you are outdoors. The WiFi is indeed at times erratic but we are not the only ones effected by this in the region of Tavira. Fortunately free WiFi is also available in most cafés and restaurants in town. We would appreciate that the garbage is brought out to the respective (also recycling) bins nearby the apartment regularly and without fail before you check out! Also to please note is that at the moment there is no functioning dishwasher as part of the amenities in the kitchen (even if photos of the apartment show one). We regret the possible inconvenience. We have been extremely fortunate to have had the most pleasant, easy-going, appreciative guests until now and thank you too for treating the space as you do your own home.
