The "Solar da Cavalariça" house resulted from the restoration of part of an old farmhouse. The restoration aimed to combine the preservation of all the architectural elements characteristic of the region with the comfort and security of a modern city apartment. In its large walled patio with mud walls and terracotta pavement, you can enjoy various trees such as orange, fig, palm and an oleander. In the hall, a photograph of the old "almocreve" leading the "churrião" of the farmhouse, invites you to enjoy the two bedrooms, living room, bathroom and kitchen that Solar da Cavalariça has to offer. The rooms measuring about 14 m2 are equipped with the traditional iron bed, one of them retaining the old manger, now with a less gastronomic function... The 20 m2 room with fireplace has a multipurpose function (dining room and living room), being served by a kitchen that hides behind a conventual mud wall.
