We got married in Maastricht in 2009. After enjoying several years living in Belgium, we started to realise our shared dream: an active life in a beautiful, natural and warm environment. Jack and Jacky Our search for sun, beach, sea, nature and golf courses brought us to the Eastern Algarve. In 2015, we bought a plot of land and started designing and building our own house and six holiday homes. From 2022, we will be living in our house with our dog Sogno. From 2023, the six guest suites will also be in use. We are proud of our place under the Portuguese sun and are happy to share it with you.

Suites Sunny Hill is a brand new project that meets all modern requirements and has been built in accordance with Portuguese regulations and legislation. Adults only. Children under 16 are only allowed when all 6 suites are rented at the same time. This is a unique accommodation for groups such as golfers, bikers, birdwatchers, kite surfers, surfers, fishermen, hikers, beach lovers, etc. Communal area where breakfast can be enjoyed from 8 to 10 a.m. This area can be used by groups for briefings, barbecues, etc. on request. The suites are cleaned 6 days a week by staff. Bed linen is changed once a week. Towels are changed at any time on request, but we do think about the environment. Air conditioning in summer, underfloor heating with heat pump in winter. Each suite is 65m2 including a 20m2 private terrace on one side with lounge seating, so you can enjoy the evening sun and the view over Moncarapacho and the nature reserve. On the other side, each suite has a seating area with chairs and tables where the sun rises in the morning. Swimming pool measuring 12.5 x 4.5 metres with a sun terrace, sun loungers and garden. It is purified by magnesium, so there is no chlorine or salt irritation. The garden with old holm oaks, carob trees, olive trees and new plantings. A Calsada road in front of the suites for unloading suitcases and groceries, then continuing on to the car park. Private terrace with a beautiful view of the nature reserve and enjoying the sunset in the evening.

Thanks to its Mediterranean climate, the Algarve enjoys mild temperatures all year round. During the winter, the average daytime temperature does not fall below 15 degrees, and the sun shines for at least six to eight hours a day. The region is great for golfers, hikers, cyclists and bon vivants: there is something for everyone. In the vicinity of Suites Sunny Hill, you will find several restaurants, cafés, shops, supermarkets and cash machines. You can also go to the gym and hire bicycles or a boat. Sports enthusiasts can indulge themselves with kilometres of beautiful walking and cycling paths through the Ria Formosa and the hinterland, with views of the hills, nature reserve and the Atlantic Ocean. The flora and fauna are truly exceptionally beautiful in all seasons. From the highest mountain, Cerro de Sao Miguel, at 411 metres, you have an endless view over the Atlantic Ocean, towards Faro and to Spain
