With a vast experience in managing national and international projects, Rogério Gonçalves, owner of Tons da Terra rural tourism, allied years of work, knowledge and know-how with a huge passion for Alentejo, which led him to pursue an old dream together with his wife Raquel da Mata, to build a project that would contribute to preserve and show the region. They “rolled up their sleeves” and created a sustainable tourism unit, authentic and in total harmony with the area where it is located.

Tons da terra Rural Tourism, a sustainable construction with strong environmental awareness, offers 6 independent double rooms, fully equipped, decorated with sober contemporary lines and local craft objects. A project characterised by good environmental practices, Tons da Terra, powered mostly by solar energy, has a magical atmosphere in perfect harmony with nature. Outside, a swimming pool makes the delight of guests, inviting to long baths during hot summer days. Each room is equipped with LED TV, AC, private bathroom and, to make you feel in perfect harmony with the countryside, a terrace where you can relax or spend a beautiful reading afternoon. The fireplace located in the common living room invites guests to feel comfortable during winter.
