Located in Calheta, on the south coast of Madeira, our apartment is just 1.8km from the sandy beach of Calheta, its restaurants and marina. You will appreciate the calm of the district, its magnificent views of the ocean, its quick access to the sea, to shops and to hiking trails. Calheta is the trendiest destination in Madeira, popular for its sandy beach (very rare on the island) and known as the sunniest place on the island. After a day at the beach, enjoy the restaurants along the marina or take an excursion at sea to discover marine fauna. If you want to explore the surroundings, the region has some nice surprises in store for you. Take the road west and the magnificent cape of Ponta de Pargo, stop at Porto Moniz and its seawater pools, discover the pretty villages of Paul do Mar, Ponta do sol and Camara de Lobos. Continue your journey in Funchal, the capital, discover its historic center and its tropical gardens where it is spring all year round.
