Surrounded by dunes and pine forest, as is characteristic of the beaches in this region, Praia da Cortegaça has a vast area with good support infrastructure and a camping site (Parque de Campismo Cortegaça). The area is increasing its popularity of a summer destination and also has the constant presence of surfers and bodyboarders. The infrastructures are an asset for anyone visiting Cortegaça, from the access to the rental of awnings, parking, restaurants, supermarkets, bars and cafés.
