Located in Valcele, 25km from Brasov and 12km from Sfantu Gheorghe, Pensiunea SilvAnka sets the standard for hospitality. Recently remodeled and completely modernized this traditional stone and tile Villa provides a safe, clean and luxurious base to explore the surrounding area which is seeped in history.
The mineralised springs in the center of town have been used since Roman times for their curative and therapeutic properties. Enjoy the fresh country air, drink the "Apa de Valcele" and bathe at the neighboring Aquasic Valcele.
Lucica and Gheorghe and renowned locally for their traditional Romanian Hospitality and manage Pensiunea SilvAnka. If you wish to book the entire place out for a large group or function please contact us directly, through our Pensiunea SilvAnka website
Gheorghe is a Romanian country singer and preforms regularly at weddings and other traditional functions. Lucica cooks great traditional Romanian food and loves hosting people. They also have a small farm adjacent Pensiunea SilvAnka with sheep, goats and Vili the pony. Several small dogs and cats round out the farm and are great fun for the kids to play with.
Pensiunea SilvAnka is located on a large landscaped property in a quiet safe neighbor hood in Valcele. The villa has been completely remodeled and renovated to include all modern day conveniences and safety features. We offer a range of accommodation , a large 2 bedroom apartment, a wheel cheer accessible 1 bedroom apartment, a self contained apartment with its own kitchen, and 5 other rooms with private bathrooms.
Communal facilities include a large common shared kitchen and dining area. A lounge with an open fireplace and comfortable seating.
For summer there is a large outside terrace with a free standing BBQ, bread oven and smoker facility designed for catering for parties up to 50 people.
We often take bookings for the entire facility and hold weddings and other celebrations.
We are close to the "Aquasic Valcele" a facility that uses the mineralised spring water for therapeutic, curative treatments. It also very relaxing !
