Built in 1909, the charming Sigtuna Stads Hotell lies along the banks of Lake Mälaren in the centre of Sweden´s oldest town, Sigtuna, with origins dating back to the middle ages. Situated on picturesque main street Stora Gatan, dotted with small boutiques, cafes and buildings rich in tradition, Sigtuna Stads Hotell successfully combines modern design with historical charm. This hotel is decorated with natural materials such as oak and sandstone from the Öland Island. The elegant furniture and fittings are a mixture of Scandinavian classics and designer touches. The convenient location enables easy and fast access to both Stockholm Arlanda International Airport and Stockholm and Uppsala.
