Welcome to beautiful Fryksås and Brudtallen Brudtallen is an over a hundred-year-old cottage with a lot of charm. The house has two floors with one apartment per floor. The cottage has amenities such as: - Stove in kitchen/living room - Kitchen with dining area for 7-8 people - Bathroom with shower and washing machine. - Terrace/balcony with a view of Siljanbygden - Outdoor cross-country ski storage/wood shed - Wi-Fi - Washing machine - High chair and travel cot for children - Pets allowed (for a fee) Entrance The lower floor is 80 square meters and has 8 beds in three rooms. The upper floor has 7 beds in three rooms. The entrance to the lower floor is at the back of the house, the entrance to the upper floor is via the stairs at the front of the house. Both apartments have a hall with a bench, hat shelf and shoe rack, as well as a drying cabinet. Dormitory with three bedrooms. Downstairs: - Bedroom 1 has two bunk beds (90 cm) - Bedroom 2 has a double bed (160) - Bedroom 3 has a family bunk bed where the upper bed is 90 cm and the lower bed is 120 cm wide. Upstairs: - Bedroom 1 has two single beds (90 cm) - Bedroom 2 has a double bed (160 cm) and a chest of drawers - Bedroom 3 has a bunk bed (90 cm) and a single bed (90 cm) Fully tiled bathroom with shower and washing machine. The kitchen and living room are open plan. Dining area and exit to the terrace/balcony with perhaps the best view of Fryksås. Downstairs has a jacuzzi that can be booked. A corner sofa and a TV with a basic range of channels. There is also a stove here for an extra cozy factor. The cabin is a self-catering cabin, so guests bring their own toilet paper, food, spices. Sheets and towels are not included but can be booked for a fee. Departure cleaning can be booked, otherwise the guest cleans himself before departure. In the event of non-approved cleaning, compensation is payable. Cleaning products are available in the cottage.

Fryksås is Sweden's oldest mountain pasture, dating from the 16th century. The small village is located on a slope and the view over Siljan's countryside is breathtaking. When you come here, you will experience a calm that is difficult to explain. The clean air, the striking silence and the surroundings are contributing factors. Fryksås is a perfect place to refuel. The nature that Fryksås has to offer is good for the mind, body and soul. In addition to all this, there are trails for both cycling and hiking, for Nordic skiing in the winter and plenty of places for cooking outdoors. Regardless of your purpose, a visit to Fryksås will be a memory for life. Fryksås is located 13 km north of Orsa and is an old farmhouse embankment. The village is 503 meters above sea level and offers a magnificent view of the Siljan region. It's almost like going back in time when you come to Fryksås, with its dirt roads and wooden cabins. The village is surrounded by wild nature with paths and tracks and cross-country skiing tracks in the winter. 2 km through the forest you reach Orsa Grönklitt, which is a larger facility with summer and winter activities. In Orsa Grönklitt there is also a convenience store, restaurant, ski slopes and cross-country trails. In summer, you can hike, rent a canoe, cycle, go on a high-altitude track and swim here. 9 km from Fryksås is the village of Hansjö with its own dairy and farm shop. In the building next to the dairy is Hansjö lanthandel, which is an interior design store with new and old. Hansjö lanthandel also has a café.
