Welcome to "Fria Luften"! That was how the croft was called when it was built on borrowed land over a hundred years ago. But now the land and this charming little house belong to us, and we're glad you want to come visit! This is a charming croft with low ceilings, thick timber walls and old-fashioned windows. The cottage is practical with wifi, solar heating, induction hob and oven, but old details have been retained such as a tiled stove. You enter a hall where you can hang your clothes in the wardrobe. From the hall you enter the bathroom, where there is a shower and toilet. The kitchen is cozy and big enough to cook a good dinner. In the living room there is a sofa, armchairs and a table. Feel free to play one of the board games we have. There is a flat-screen TV here that you can plug in with an HDMI cable, and you can play CDs. If you have a boxer card, you can use it. Best in the living room is still the tiled stove, you just light a fire and cozy up! From the hall you go via a rather steep staircase up to a loft. There is a small storage room with extra beds. In the loft there are two departments. In one there are two separate beds. In the second there is a double bed. The loft is a room, but is partially divided by the brickwork. Welcome!

We have traveled both the world and Sweden! We have stayed in such nice places and met such generous hosts. That's why it feels so good to be able to welcome the world and Sweden to our home! Mrs. Falkman is a native of ölming and Värmland since many generations back. She can tell you about local sights and stories. Mr. Falkman is a lifeguard and is happy to talk about what Lake Vänern has to offer. Barnen Falkman is happy to lend toys and other things that visiting children may need. We have full control of good restaurants!

Värmland is an oasis of sights and culture, and Lidsberg in Ölme is a good place to start from! Here you get your own pitch with your own garden. It is within walking distance of less than half a kilometer to a bus stop, pub, small shop and restaurant. If you go out towards Ölmeviken in Vänern, you will get a rich bird life. It only takes 15 minutes by car to Kristinehamn, where you can shop for food, go to museums and many restaurants. You should also take a trip out to the Archipelago to see Picasso's sculpture. It is 30 minutes to Karlstad, where you can see Lars Lerin's own Sandgrund, the Värmlands Museum and the Brigade Museum. In winter, of course, you can go skiing, and in summer Lake Vänern and several small lakes attract. There are plenty of deer, wild raspberries are in the garden and blueberries await in the forest.
