Villa Guldkusten is a modern guesthouse by Lake Västlanda with beautiful lake views. In summer 2026, a private jetty and a barbecue area by the water will be added – perfect for long summer evenings. The house features two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a bathroom with underfloor heating, and a bright living room with a Smart TV. During the summer season (May–September), outdoor furniture is available on the terrace, making your stay even more enjoyable. The accommodation is ideal for families, couples, and business travelers who want to stay close to nature while still being within easy reach of Köping, Arboga, Västerås, and Örebro. Final cleaning is not included in the price. Full information and a detailed cleaning checklist can be found in the house manual. If the cleaning is not done properly, a fee of SEK 2,000 may apply. Out of respect for all guests, smoking and vaping are not allowed – neither indoors nor anywhere on the property. Bookings are only accepted from guests aged 25 or older. ID may be checked at check-in. Villa Guldkusten is beautifully located in the countryside, with the lake just below the house and fields surrounding the property. You may hear birds on the water, cows in the distance, and occasionally a tractor during harvest season – sounds that belong to life in the countryside and add to the peaceful atmosphere. As the house is close to nature, small insects may occasionally appear, especially during summer. We always do our best to keep the house clean and comfortable, but from time to time, a tiny visitor from nature may find its way inside. At certain times of the year, the local farmer may fertilize the nearby field, which can temporarily bring a scent in the air – part of the authentic rural experience. During the summer months, we recommend keeping doors and windows closed to avoid flies and instead enjoy the cool air from the house’s AC.

Villa Guldkusten is located by Lake Västlanda, a peaceful and scenic spot perfect for both relaxation and outdoor activities. Guests can swim, fish, or simply enjoy the view from the jetty. Nearby you will find hiking trails and cycling routes to explore the surrounding nature. Within 30–45 minutes you can reach the towns of Köping, Arboga, Västerås, and Örebro, offering shopping, restaurants, and cultural attractions. Stockholm is about a two-hour drive, ideal for a day trip.
