住宿信息
Our holiday home is located in the historic center, practically a few minutes from Tartini Square.
Its strength as well as being its position, practically 100 meters from the sea on one side and 150 meters on the other, is the fact that it is a separate apartment, entirely restored both externally and internally. Finished in every detail, nice and very spacious. It has a large entrance that opens onto an open space that occupies the entire surface, a refined room that leads into the kitchen with a spacious table for lunch. It is equipped with all comforts, two bathrooms, one on the ground floor and one on the upper floor, two double bedrooms one of which has an en-suite bathroom and a small terrace and the other has two windows that overlook the main street that leads at the castle of Piran. The fine and elegant furnishings created by a balance between well-designed architectural spaces and the obsessive care for the finishes maintain its simplicity and consistency with the external marine environment but it is also the right result of a constant commitment to comfort and attention for our guests.
周边信息
We are in the heart of the city of the Middle Ages, just a few steps from the former Piazza Vecchia, or Piazza I Maggio which maintains the atmosphere of other times. At the center of the square is a large cistern built at the end of the 1700s to collect rainwater that came into the pool coming down from neighboring houses. The square is raised above the surrounding cobblestone, a sort of square-monument that is worth admiring. Continuing we find ourselves in the main square of Piran which welcomes visitors at the end of the promenade. Built in 1894 in place of the mandracchio (Old Harbor) which was buried is surrounded by numerous important buildings, such as the Palazzo di Giustizia, the Church of San Pietro, the Venetian House, as well as numerous bars and restaurants, is named after the composer and Piran violinist, Giuseppe Tartini (1692/1770), who is also remembered by the statue in the middle of the square. Behind us then stands on a ridge overlooking the sea the cathedral of San Giorgio, built in Renaissance baroque style and its bell tower resembles that of San Marco because it was just taken as a model the Venetian basilica.
