My family and I like to welcome our guests with hospitality and like to make sure you have everything you need. Immersed in tradition and a pristine landscape, you can learn about organic farming and life on a highland farm. We will help you out with information about our region, available activities, great food and point you to the beautiful locations in our region. But we also respect your privacy, if you require one.

Property information

The Visočnik Tourism Farm sits on its own surrounded by meadows and forests and boasts a beautiful view of the surrounding mountain peaks. The well-known Golte recreational and tourist centre is only 5 km away. To arrive at The Visočnik Tourism Farm, which lies at the altitude of 1121m, you have to travel 12 km from the town of Ljubno ob Savinji in the direction towards Smrekovec. Mountain farm is devoted to organic farming. The food on the farm cooking is local, diverse, and revives the tradition of the times when our grandmothers took enough time to prepare food with love. You will especially enjoy the savinjski želodec, all kinds of meat dishes, dairy products, vegetables, žlinkrofi, and homemade desserts. Family rooms and the apartment are equipped with furniture from solid wood, bathroom, TV and free wireless internet. In the ‘kasca’ from year 1880 on the Farm our guests and visitors can see the collection of old tools used by our ancestors. Close to the Farm there is a sycamore maple which was recognized in 1987 as the thickest sycamore maple in Slovenia.

The location of the farm is ideal for all who, desire peace and tranquility and also for families with children, as there are a lot of places for play and amusement. There are a lot of possibilities for your free-time activities. Guests can go mountain-hiking, mountaineering, mountainbiking, etc.. The tours to the flower park Mozirski gaj, the Logar Valley, the cave Snežna jama etc., may be your memorable experience, as well as the trips to many cultural-historical sights of the Upper Savinja Valley. In winter ski enthusiasts can enjoy the Golte Ski Center just five kilometers from the farm.
