Right in the middle of Sorica, a small village where vast fields and meadows meet the forest under the mountains, you can find the Guesthouse Macesen. The idea for our guesthouse grew out of our wish to offer a little piece of ourselves and the local hospitality. We wish to create a friendly atmosphere for our guests to experience the traditional environment of the village inn where they can enjoy the local specialities. But our range of products and services does not consist only of excellent food and beverages. In the same building there is also a multi-purpose hall with the traditional Slovene kozolec (a hayrack), accommodation rooms and a wellness oasis with saunas and a gym.

Our rooms are special. They fill you with nostalgia and take you back to the time of our grandparents. They are furnished with furniture whose design was inspired by old peasant rooms. The rooms are named after the surrounding hills, villages and hiking paths. Each room is unique because it is decorated with a wall painting depicting the feature the room was named after. We invite you to have a look at it also in real life. We want you to feel as comfortable as possible. The rooms are bright and cosy with a slight nostalgic note, offering a wonderful view over the mountains that guard Sorica. We equipped the rooms with the modern devices as well: in each room you can find a TV, internet access, Wi-Fi connection, a mini bar and a safety deposit box. Staying with us, you will feel the past merging with the present, creating amazing memories to remember in the future.
