The neighbourhood Stara Ljubljana or Old Ljubljana is part of the Ljubljana's old town residential area, safe and secure, alive and buzzing with people during the day and fairly quiet at night. There is an open venue place called Križanke (actually the oldest building in Ljubljana and a former monastery) just 50 meters from the house so that you can enjoy the sounds of some great concerts by just opening your windows. The concerts usually end by 23:00h (11pm) so that they do not disturb your sleep. For those still young in their hearts there is a classic Ljubljana pub just on the corner of the street where students come to enjoy and socialize over the weekend. Their music can be loud but they have to close at midnight and we have double windows that keep the sound on the street so you can easily enjoy your sleep. It's an unique part of Ljubljana, where you can really get the feel of it. Nowhere else in Ljubljana you will be privileged to enjoy the vibe of the city so much. Main turist attractions like NUK, Križanke, Ljubljanica river and many more are just outside your door, including Ljubljana’s trendy nightlife.
