The house opposite the sun is located in a quiet and small village called Gozd Martuljek, only 5 km away from Kranjska Gora. The village is known by its green surroundings and an exceptional view of the Martuljek’s peaks. The house, next to which a stream flows in the summer, is suitable for a peaceful holiday, and all sports enthusiasts can also get their money's worth. The house is furnished with the sense to provide comfort in the heart of the nature with stunning views. The Experience in our place will definitely charm you. My name is Andrej and I am your host. I am a professor of physical education (PE), a long-time handball player and a mountain guide. My passion are hills and enjoying nature. I can experience all this here, in Gozd Martuljek, where I can rest my soul and body in the family house and gather new strength for everyday challenges. Pull me by the sleeve and I will be happy to take you to the wild world of the Martuljek’s Mountains. My family and I will do our best to meet your expectations.

You will definitely not be bored, as Gozd Martuljek and Kranjska Gora offer many different activities for spending your vacation. Just a few minutes of walk from the house you will find two climbing paths, a climbing wall, a multi-purpose sports field and a children's adventure park. There are many hiking trails, and you can go on foot to the famous Martuljek Waterfalls. By prior arrangement, we also offer mountain guidance with the host. There are hiking trails which are available for beginners, and even those with more experiences can also venture into the world of off-piste. Cycling enthusiasts can take a trip along the well-maintained cycle path to Mojstrana or Tarvisio, Italy. In winter you can visit the ski resort in Kranjska Gora or one of the nearby ski resorts in Italy and Austria. You can also cross-country ski in Gozd Martuljek, Planica and Rateče. Even sledding enthusiasts are taking care of, as there is a sledding path in the village. - Charging electric vehicles is not possible in our accommodations, but there are a few charging stations nearby
