Property information

Red Beech Cabin is one of the oldest cabins in Ukanc with its history going back to year 1885. It contains many unique and handcrafted features. Our cabin is located in the extremely sought after village of Ukanc next to Slovenia’s biggest natural lake Bohinj and in the heart of the Triglav national park. Just 10 minutes walk to Lake Bohinj and 5 minutes walk to Vogel Cable car (Gondola). Two private parking spaces are available at the site. Winter time:
Please note, during winter time there might be occasions of high snowfall. We will make sure the driveway and property is clear of snow for your arrival. During your winter stay, we will leave grit and a snow shovel for you to clean out any snowfall during your stay. If you wish to rent and order regular snow cleaning, we can get you in contact with a local company (25EUR per hour charge). In case of high snow you might not be able to use the driveway for parking due to icy conditions. In that case the nearest payable public car parking is 5 minutes walking distance away. NOTE: *Pets welcomed, fee is 50 eur. *The stairs are rather steep, please do make sure to observe the photos to make sure you are comfortable with them *Wi-Fi is available in the house, TV only has local programmes. *Cleanliness or disrepair Our cabin is professionally cleaned for your convenience with date stamped pictures taken by the cleaners after their clean, and ahead of your check-in. Please note any issues with the cabin of cleanliness or disrepair must be reported latest 6 hours of checking in. *A mandatory law requires that all guests have to present a valid Government ID upon check-in. Persons other than registered guests are restricted from the cabin. *We kindly inform you that you are asked to follow: booking website rules, and during your stay local laws and national park rules.

Our cabin is located in the sought after village of Ukanc within walking distance to Vogel Ski resort Gondola and lake Bohinj. It's located in the only national park of Slovenia offering stunning nature walks, lake swimming, skiing in the winter - plenty to do to recharge in the beautiful area of Bohinj.
