Studio Pika is situated in Kranjska gora, a part of one of the most beautiful Alpine valleys - Zgornjesavska valley, right besides the borders with Austria and Italy. Kranjska Gora is an attractive tourist sports center throughout the year. In the winter it sees Alpine skiers compete and top ski jumpers break new records at the near-by Planica. Cyclists endeavour to conquer the highest Slovenian mountain pass, and hikers can stop by many points of interest. The place has everything a person needs, a pharmacy, bus station, restaurants, supermarkets, etc. The town is located in the Upper Sava Valley, a typical Alpine valley. Located at the far northwest of Slovenia where the borders of Slovenia, Austria, and Italy meet, the valley is embraced on the north and south by the peaks of the Karawanks and the Julian Alps. There is a rich range of active expiriences in Kranjska Gora. There are adrenaline options such as feratas, trail run, paintball, paragliding, zipline in Planica, mountain bike trails and indoor skydiving at the Planica Nordic Centre. Bikers can enjoy cycling trails from the ones suitable for families to paths for more expirienced mountain bikers. There are also many options for hiking.
