The area offers a huge amount of stunning walking and mountain biking right from the doorstep – for example up the wonderful Tamar Valley into the Triglav National Park or to the triple border, the point where Italy, Austria & Slovenia meet. Beautiful Belopeški Lakes (Laghi di Fusine-Italy) are just a few minutes drive or a short walk away. In Winter there is skiing just 5 minutes drive or bus away at Kranjska Gora, a superb resort for families and beginner – intermediate level skiers.
