Our accommodations (there are more than 45) are suitable for those who seek and love peace, unspoilt nature, intimacy, traditional Slovenian cuisine, local and boutique products and active holidays.

Property information

Become a master of Vineyard Cottage Luštek, situated on Trška Gora vineyard hill near Novo mesto. Take a walk through the vineyards, taste the wine in the cellar and enjoy the quiet nature and magnificent view on hills of Dolenjska. Vineyard Cottages or Zidanice as they are called in Slovene are charming houses built in the vineyards on picturesque hills of Dolenjska region. In the living room there is a pull-out sofa for two. In the upper open, gallery area, there are an additional two beds (two separate mattresses) and a smaller room with one single bed. In the living room there is also a dining area and a kitchen. Every vineyard cottage has to have a wine cellar and cottage Luštek is no different. All guests receive the keys of the cellar and can taste the local wines during their stay. We greet every guest with our own wine, local meat products and other home-made specialities. Rent our boats and go rowing on river Krka. We can also provide bicycles if you wish to explore hills of Dolenjska or go horse riding at the nearby Agriculture School.

Vineyard Cottage Lustek is located on quiet and peaceful vineyard hill Trska Gora, above Novo mesto the capital of Dolenjska region. Cottage Lustek is surrounded by vineyards and other vineyard cottages with a marvellous view on Novo mesto and Krka river valley. Dolenjska is characterised by hills, scattered vineyards, numerous vineyard cottages, castles and churches, the Krka River, rich archaeological sites, quality thermal spas and the European speciality wine Cvicek. Novo mesto city is an old medieval town with the museum Dolenjski Muzej. Franciscan monastery, town hall and St. Nicholas Church as some of the most important sites. Visit our green wine growing regions Dolenjska and Bela Krajina. Try our special wine Cviček, relax in the thermal spa centres or visit numerous historical and natural landmarks.
