Near to Thermal Park Besenova, there is a lot to do in winter as well as in summer. Region of Liptov belongs to the most visited places in Slovakia. You can enjoy beautiful scenery of Slovak mountains right from the pools and restaurants located in Thermal park Besenova. In summer, you can take your hiking shoes and walk up on the beautiful mountains of Low Tatras, West Tatras, Choc or High Tatras. You can also go mountain biking, rode cycling, fishing or do all kinds of water sports. In winter, there is a free of charge shuttle bus going from Thermal Park Besenova over to the biggest ski resort in Slovakia - Jasna Nizke Tatry, which is only about 30 minutes far. There is also a possibility to enjoy winter in some smaller winter resort in Liptov, such as Malino Brdo, Zavazna Poruba, Ziarska valley and many more.
